In the “Highorophilic” series, I create a space for all kinds of peculiar creatures with tentacles, shells, and shoots, for bodies of beauty in an unconventional way – inhabiting moist places, meandering rivers, swamps, and peat bogs. In my works, encountered monstrous beings take on exceptional qualities; they become part of hybrid, speculative worlds where strangeness and wildness are affirmed, and damp habitats are protected.
